Royal Ottawa launches efforts to treat mental health and opioid addiction

A new outpatient service launched by the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre hopes to treat both mental health issues and addictions in patients under 30 or who have been addicted to opioids for less than five years. Dr. Kim Corace, project director of the Regional Opioid Intervention Service, was raised in Manotick, where Fentanyl-related deaths last year garnered national attention.
