Calling all Gymnasts!
National Gymnastics Week is February 11-17, and is a week-long celebration that puts the focus on the positive benefits of gymnastics in all its forms. The aim is to get the country moving with activities and events for people of all ages and abilities in communities from coast to coast. National Gymnastics Week is a joint effort of over 700 clubs, provincial-territorial federations, and Gymnastics Canada.
One of the highlights of the week is Gymnastics Hour when clubs across the country will open their doors with the simple goal of seeing how many people they can get doing gymnastics in Canada at the same time for one hour.
This year Gymnastics Hour is set to go on Saturday, February 16th from 2:00‐3:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. We are inviting everyone to come to Pierre Elliott Trudeau School to participate. Come yourself, and bring your family and friends. Wear comfortable clothes, a big smile and get ready for an hour of rhythmic gymnastics fun and exercise. Our goal is to get as many people as possible joining in and enjoying the activity that we love so much.
