Firefighters search Ottawa River for man missing from Cumberland Ferry

OTTAWA — Firefighters from Ottawa and Gatineau were searching the Ottawa River Monday afternoon for a man reported missing from the Cumberland-Masson Ferry. According to Ottawa Fire spokesman Marc Messier, the man boarded the ferry in Ontario but was not on board when it arrived on the Quebec side. The Ottawa Fire water rescue boat began searching the river at about 2 p.m.
