大家好，我叫Laine Johnson，是西渥太华社区资源中心的志愿者协调员。我们中心向渥太华西区提供社区支援服务。目前，我们准备面向本社区的华人老年人提供更多的帮助。希望大家能够互相宣传，帮助我们找到更多合适的志愿者！
我们正在寻找能用自己的车帮助接送老人们去看病或者其他预约服务的志愿者。我们希望能够扩大中英双语的志愿者队伍，以提高对华人老年人的服务能力。如有可能，希望能有机会合作进入你们的社交网络扩大宣传，我们可以参加你们的会议，发送通讯或者宣传单，也可以以任何你们认为合适的方式使我们接触到更多的潜在志愿者。这些志愿者要求能用中英文双语进行交流，有投有两百万责任险的私车，通过面试后填写相应的表格和文件。

The Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre is planning to expand its services to assist the Chinese seniors community. We are looking for Chinese-English speaking volunteers to provide transportation to medical appointments and various social activities and programs to Chinese-speaking seniors in our community. Transportation is provided by volunteers using their personal vehicles, with a 2 million dollar liability. Mileage is reimbursed at .50/km. As needed. Preferably 4 times per month.

Transportation for clients in Kanata, Goulbourn and West Carleton to any area in Ottawa Carleton area。

You would be responsible for

1. Making contact with client a couple days before appointment to arrange pick up.

2. Providing assistance when necessary to client when getting in and out of the vehicle or to get a wheel chair at the medical building.

3. Communicating with coordinator any concerns.
