Police watchdog calls off investigation into Smith Falls arrest injury

Ontario’s police watchdog has called off its investigation into an injury sustained by a man in Smiths Falls as he attempted to evade police. Smiths Falls police entered a Russel Street East apartment on Jan. 10 to arrest the man on outstanding arrest warrants. He attempted to escape through a second-floor window and dropped down to the side walk.
