City-owned green buildings still await certification years after construction

The city’s efforts to construct green buildings appear to have hit a snag as projects completed as far back as 2008 are still awaiting official certification, a new environment committee report says. Council approved the green building policy for the construction of corporate buildings in 2005, and amended it two years later.
