Emergency responders were called at around 5:10 p.m. and quickly declared a working fire.
Once on scene, firefighters warned of a possible roof collapse, heavy smoke and flames, according to Ottawa Fire’s public information officer’s Twitter account.
One person was initially unaccounted for but after two searches of the units, no residents were found inside, the officer tweeted.
Police, paramedics, hydro, gas and Red Cross crews were called to the scene.
