Chess 'n Math, will the kind assistance of the RA Chess Club, will be sponsoring an event with Girls Under-14 World Chess Champion Qiyu Zhou. Qiyu will be playing 25 simultaneous chess games on Sunday, October 26. The event will take place at the RA Centre, in the Outaouais Room starting at 1:00pm.
Everyone is welcome to come out and meet Qiyu and watch the games. If you have attended a Chess 'n Math tournament or camp in the last year then you are eligible to play against Qiyu. There will be a fee of $10 to help Qiyu continue her chess career.

The WYCC is the first major chess event to be held in Africa, and attracted nearly 1000 players from around the world to compete in sections ranging from Under 8 to Under 18.
