Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in locating a suspect in a robbery Jan. 26 at a bank branch in the 1600 block of Montreal Road near Blair Road.
Police say the suspect entered the branch at about 8:25 a.m., and produced a note demanding cash. He indicated he had a gun, although none was seen. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
There were no injuries.
Investigators think the suspect had a vehicle parked nearby, possibly with another individual driving.
The suspect is described as a black male, five-feet-11inches to six-feet-two inches (180 cm-188 cm) tall, with an average build. The man spoken what police described as broken English.
