去IB还是不去

IB课程跟美国的高中课程难度接近，加拿大的高中课程跟美国的差一大截。小学，初中更是。

加拿大高中主要还是没有标准化的统一考试， 学校水平有些参差不齐。

可能是校风。我知道几个IB孩子，去年放弃美国录取。

不是中国孩子吧， 本地的孩子比较现实，一样的专业留下读，竞争小学费低

我想，作为家长，关键要看清楚孩子学到目前的水平，是否仍有相当大的潜力。如果已经开足了马力、足够的时间投入了学习，孩子才达到目前的水平，那就算了。
去不去IB，取决于孩子是否有去IB的冲动。

可能还是有潜力吧。学校作业很少。平时就是玩游戏。如果让孩子自己做决定，肯定不去。想让孩子去就是想推一推

这么说吧。如果能把IB拿下，那么孩子应付大学的课程应该是没问题了，也会相对轻松。
