Ottawa police robbery squad is seeking public assistance in tracking down a suspect in gas station robbery at Cyrville Road and St. Laurent Boulevard on Sunday.
Police say the knife-wielding suspect entered the gas station at about 1:15 a.m., jumped onto the counter and demanded cash. He was given some money and he then demanded cigarettes, which he was also given before he fled.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, 35-45 years old with a slim build and clean shaven. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with “Canada” on the sleeve, a blue baseball cap, dark shorts, and black-framed glasses.
