Teen falls from Alexandra Bridge, suffers minor injuries

Ottawa firefighters were called in Monday evening to help paramedics reach a teenager who apparently sustained broken bones after falling from the Alexandra Bridge onto the shoreline.

Paramedics described the 16-year-old’s injuries as minor.

However, the victim landed in an “awkward” spot that was difficult to reach. Hence, a fire department water rescue team was called in to try to reach him.
