Ottawa police have arrested a man wanted on a slew of assaults and weapons charges a day after making a public plea for help.
Police said 45-year-old Brian Lemmon was arrested Wednesday afternoon.
Lemmon faces charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, uttering death threats, weapons possession and breaching probation. The offences occurred during July and August and involve a 21-year-old male victim, police said.
Police said their investigation is continuing and they won’t be releasing any more details. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Central District investigators at 613-236-1222, ext. 516, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
