Boats are out on the water for a possible water rescue at the Alexandra Bridge.
Gatineau police say a call came in at 4:42 a.m. after a person thought they saw another person fall off the bridge.
Police and both fire departments responded. The bridge was closed heading towards Gatineau for about an hour, but has since re-opened.
The Ottawa fire department says it has two boats on scene. Gatineau fire is also on scene investigating.
No impact is expected on morning traffic, Gatineau police said.
