Flags at half-mast today for fallen firefighters

Ottawa – Flags at City Hall will fly at half-mast from sunrise until sunset today to honour a day of mourning for fallen firefighters.

Ottawa Fire Services and the Ottawa Firefighters Community Foundation will host a ceremony at the firefighters’ memorial at Marion Dewar Plaza today at noon, preceded by a march along Elgin Street.
