Ottawa police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who has been approaching teenage girls in Barrhaven and performing indecent acts.
Police say there have been three reports over the past month involving an man driving a grey or blue van approaching teenaged females during the afternoon and performing an indecent act before driving away. The incidents occurred in the Woodroofe Avenue, Longfield Drive and Strandherd Road areas in Barrhaven.
The driver is described as a caucasian male in his 30s with short brown hair.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police sexual assault and child abuse unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5944, or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477.
