Yet another video has surfaced in Ottawa’s ongoing taxi dispute, this one showing another attack on what is said to be a cab that had collected a passenger at the Ottawa airport.

According to an accompanying note from the anonymous poster who put the video on YouTube Friday, the video was shot from a dashboard camera on Sept. 8, the same day a protest on the Airport Parkway turned violent.

Three Ottawa drivers face charges in another attack that day that was also captured on video.

In the video posted Friday, two men are seen striking the car with Unifor union flags and smashing its windshield while other men run up before the car escapes down an exit ramp.

Ottawa police said they were already aware of the video. They would not say whether they were investigating it.

Locked-out airport taxi drivers are protesting a deal between the airport authority and their dispatcher, Coventry Connections, that hiked fees for drivers and allows any Coventry cab, not just cabs with special licences, to collect fares at the airport.

Union officials were not available for comment on Friday.
