Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in locating Francis Cuento, 17, of Ottawa.
Francis was last seen shortly before 11 a.m. around the 3200 block of Uplands Drive.
The youth is described as being of Asian descent, about five feet one inch (156 cm) tall 160-170 pounds (73-77 kg) with dark skin, straight black hair and clean shaved. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, white T-shirt, black pants and carrying a red-and-black backpack.
Francis has Down syndrome.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police missing persons unit at 613-236-122, ext. 2355 during business hours, or police dispatch at 613-230-6211. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by downloading the Ottawa police iOS app.
