First-hand look at Ottawa Art Gallery Expansion and Arts Court Redevelopment Project

Ottawa – Mayor Jim Watson and Rideau-Vanier Ward Councillor Mathieu Fleury will celebrate the beginning of the Ottawa Art Gallery Expansion and Arts Court Redevelopment construction. The Honourable Madeleine Meilleur, MPP for Otawa-Vanier, will also be on hand along with project partners from the Ottawa Art Gallery, Arts Court Partners (SAW Gallery, SAW Video, Artengine, IFCO), the University of Ottawa, EBC Inc., DevMcGill and Group Germain Hotels to provide an update on progress.

Date: Friday, October 2

Time: 11 a.m.

Location: Arts Court, 2 Daly Avenue, The Studio, 2nd Floor

Shuttle service: There is no parking on site. A shuttle will depart City Hall (110 Laurier Avenue West, Lisgar Street entrance) at 10:30 a.m. sharp, and will return to City Hall at noon.

There will be a photo opportunity in front of the construction site with participating dignitaries. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended.
