Ottawa – Councillor David Chernushenko, Chair of the Environment Committee, Carey Thomson, Deputy City Solicitor, Dixon Weir, General Manager of Environmental Services and Tammy Rose, Manager of Drinking Water Services will brief Ottawa City Councillors on the sections of Ontario’s Safe Drinking Water Act that describe the responsibilities of councillors. Staff will also provide an update on Ottawa’s drinking water systems.
