A family will be displaced after a fire broke out in the family room of a Barrhaven home Monday night.
Ottawa Fire Services said they were called to 8 Knotwood Crt., near Strandherd and Longfields drives, at 8:37 p.m. by the owner, who reported a fire in his living room.
No one was injured in the blaze, the cause of which is believed to be accidental.
