A woman was taken to hospital in critical condition after her car crashed into a tree on Smyth Road Monday.
The woman had no vital signs following the crash near Haig and Saunderson drives just after 1 p.m. Ottawa police have closed roads in the area.
Ottawa paramedics said they were able to regain vital signs after the woman was removed from the vehicle. The woman may have suffered a medical event before the crash.
