我就是住你说的新区，地基被垫高了很多，我家比后面的房子高出一大截，站在阳台上平视都是房顶，所以后面的房子从来不开窗帘。泄洪塘比房子低1.2米，这种地势进水的机会多么？

不必担心。那次的事件也不是所有的房子都有水。

垃圾底部处理过，渗入soil 也是少量的，主要影响的是用井水的。对自来水用户没有影响，不是大问题

谢谢你的数字，再次证明Kanata and Stittisvile的氡气问题。68还不够高吗？我的是6，室外正常空气应该在3以下。氡气无色无味，你想闻到什么？垃圾场就在那附近，长年累月渗透到土壤，你想闻到看到什么？原来看那个区也不错，安静，便宜，但查了一下狗后，决定放弃。这年头道听途说不容易，放狗自己搜不就一目了然了（key words: "Stittsville flood"，"Ottawa Radon gas map"）, 不幸的是最近住那里的一个朋友才诊断出非常严重的疾病，不敢说是氡气直接导致的，有兴趣的可去加拿大卫生部查统计资料。当然你要说那没问题，住了七八年了也看不见摸不到，那就 enjoy.
PS: not living in kanata or Stittisville, not in barrhaven either, but never hate any of above districts, just sharing my knowledge about these places
