Shortly before Sunday night’s Super Bowl ended, a man was stabbed in his lower body on Montreal Road, near Marier Avenue.
Ottawa paramedics say they received a call for a “penetrating trauma” at about 10:11 p.m. When they arrived on scene they treated a 30-year-old male for a “lower extremity” wound.
The man was taken to hospital and is in serious but stable condition, paramedics say.
Ottawa police are investigating.
