One man is confirmed dead and two others seriously injured following a shooting incident in Almonte Thursday morning.
According to the OPP, when officers arrived at the undisclosed scene they found the man dead.
A woman and another man were taken to hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.
Police sources indicate the dead man was the female victim’s father. The woman and the second man, considered a suspect in the matter, were in an unspecified domestic relationship.
Unconfirmed reports indicate the residence is a large home on Strathburn Street, a quiet street about one kilometre from the centre of Almonte.
Criminal investigators are en route to the scene.
Police said there were no suspects being sought and there was no danger to the public, according to police.
