New stage of construction at Ottawa Art Gallery Expansion and Arts Court Redevelopment Project

Ottawa – Mayor Jim Watson will mark the start of the next stage of construction at the site of the Ottawa Art Gallery Expansion and Arts Court Redevelopment project. The Honourable Madeleine Meilleur, MPP for Ottawa-Vanier, and Rideau-Vanier Ward Councillor Mathieu Fleury will also be on hand along with project partners from the Ottawa Art Gallery, Arts Court, the University of Ottawa, EBC Inc., DevMcGill and Group Germain Hotels.

Time: 10:35 a.m.

Location: Arts Court Studio, 2nd Floor, 2 Daly Avenue

Shuttle Service: There is no parking on site. A shuttle will depart City Hall (110 Laurier Avenue West, Lisgar

Street entrance) at 10:15 a.m. sharp, and will return to City Hall by 11:45 a.m.

There will be a photo opportunity in front of the construction site with participating dignitaries. Following the photo, all guests are invited to attend a reception hosted by the Ottawa Art Gallery.

This is an outdoor event and construction site. Please dress weather-appropriate. Low-heeled walking shoes, full length pants and sleeves are required.
