Location: Hamilton Convention Centre - 1 Summers Lane
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Admission is free and includes access to all employers and community service agencies, employment seminars, résumé review, and Job Search Central. Bring lots of résumés and arrive prepared for an on-site interview. There are many positions available ranging from entry-level to management.

I went to the jobfair, it;s really People Mountain People Sea. It started at 10am, i went there 9:20, waited till 10:20 to be able to get in. there are already a long line -up when i arrived!!

Nothing for high tech, mostly in retail, management, placement agencies. I found first 30sec are very important, u must be able to "sell yourself" to the employer, coz, they didn't check your resume before talking to you. If ur oral English is not good, still, u gotta to practice for your first 30sec in order to make the employees become interested in you. Overall, i find that if u are in business, they still have many jobs out there, even for entry leve positions. Especially, they are looking for people who can speak mandarin and Cantonese in those positions. Anyways, i found the job fair is not bad, soem of the companies are interested in me, so i feel it's worthwhile to go. I strongly reconmend people to go to all the job fairs, u never know what u will be able to find.
