Ottawa Fire Services said they rescued two people from a car that had flipped over after colliding with another late Sunday morning.
The collision occurred at the corner of Woodroffe Avenue and Knoxdale Road just before noon.
Several caller alerted emergency services to the collision, and that people were trapped in a flipped vehicle.
Police said all people were safely removed by firefighters, and only minor injuries were suffered. At least two people were taken to hospital to be treated.
Traffic was still moving through the area after the collision, but motorists are asked to stay away until about 1:30 p.m., when roads should be fully opened to traffic.
