Ottawa police patrol officers have arrested a 15-year-old youth as the main suspect in a May 16 swarming in which a woman was pushed down a stairwell in a building on Bank Street for her cellphone.
The victim was badly shaken up but not seriously injured.
Officers spotted the suspect, whose photo had been taken by a witness and circulated through the media, near the intersection of Heron Road and Alta Vista Drive Wednesday night without incident.
The suspect is to in youth court July 5 on charges of robbery and conspiracy.
Two other suspects remain at large.
