The Ottawa police human trafficking unit wants the public’s help to catch a man who they consider “armed and dangerous” after a violent early-morning encounter in Sandy Hill involving a gun last month.
The encounter took place in an apartment in the 1-100 block of Daly Avenue in the early-morning hours of May 24.
Pierre Senatus, 21, who is wanted by police is described as a black male, standing around six-feet tall, weighing just over 200 pounds with a medium build, a beard and medium-length curly hair that is possibly braided.
Senatus faces eight gun-related charges, including pointing a gun and carrying a concealed weapon. He also faces multiple assault charges, including sexual assault with a weapon, assault with a weapon and aggravated assault as well as failure to comply with judicial release conditions.
Two suspects have already been arrested in connection with the incident.
Devon Labelle, 23, has been charged with human trafficking, receiving financial benefit from human trafficking, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats and eight counts of assault. He remains in police custody.
Keisha Touzin, 24, has been charged with aggravated assault. She was released on a promise to appear in court.
All individuals are from Ottawa, police say.
Police urge anyone with information about Senatus to call the Ottawa police’s human trafficking unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5005.
Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by downloading the Ottawa Police app.
