Water Advisories for all water users on Rideau Street are now lifted

Ottawa – Ottawa Public Health has lifted all Precautionary Boil Water and Do Not Drink Advisories for the following addresses:

• 41 Rideau Street
• 45 Rideau Street
• 80 Rideau Street

Water testing indicates that tap water is safe to drink. No further testing is required at this time.


Ottawa Public Health and Drinking Water Services will continue to support the affected business owners as they resume service.


Businesses will disinfect and flush lines that feed ice machines, soft drink canisters and other equipment as necessary.
