Gatineau police arrested four people and seized a variety of illegal drugs in a raid in the Hull sector Tuesday afternoon.
Acting on a tip that led to a three-week investigation, police raided a residence at 43 Papineau St., where they arrested two women, aged 39 and 46, and two men, aged 41 and 42. Police seized 164 methamphetamine pills, 12 grams of marijuana, a half gram of cocaine, $225 in cash and some cellphones.
The prosecutor’s office is examining various possible possession and trafficking charges in the case.
Three of the suspects were released pending court dates, while the 39-year-old woman was to appear in court Wednesday.
