华人社区服务中心诚征前台接待义工, 成为本中心主要的前台接待员.

期间为今年9月底至12月底或是更长, 工作时间为周一至周五9 点至5点, 每周2天或5天(工作天数可协商), 须能以流利地英文, 普通话 , 广东话交流, 三个月期满后可获工作推荐信.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming and outgoing calls and direct to appropriate staff member
• Receive, screen, transfer and respond to telephone calls, massages and fax
• Greet visitors and clients
• Maintain a neat reception area and front desk
• Update and upgrade information area
• Direct client to appropriate service/workers
• Work experience in a multicultural environment
• Provide front line support and direct office traffic
• Manage waiting area/ resource room
• ISAP/NSP workshops input for monthly newsletter
• Update monthly classroom booking
• Perform other clerical duties as required
• Knowledge of OCCSC programs and services an asset

Qualifications:

• Spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English language skill essential
• Experience in an office support/clerical/reception role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability organized, attentive to detail; good time management skills
• Computer Literate ( Word, Excel and Power Pointe) and willing to learn internal database
• Preference for one-year of previous non-profit experience
• High school graduate or equivalent

华人社区服务中心急征老人英语会话义工


OCCSC is looking for volunteer(s) to start a new collaboration program with Riverside South Chinese School on Saturday mornings from 9:30 – 11:30 at following address: École élémentaire catholique Bernard-Grandmaître: 4170 Spratt Road, Ottawa, ON, K1V 0Z5


The program is designed to be English conversation teacher /facilitator for seniors, to help them practice English conversation and make new friends.


Need to committee 3 months or longer on Saturday mornings, from 9:30am – 11:30am at Riverside South Chinese School.
