A 10-year-old Gatineau girl is in stable condition in hospital after she was struck by a schoolbus Wednesday morning in the city’s Limbour neighbourhood.
Police said the girl was crossing Cannes Street shortly before 8 a.m. when she was hit by the bus, which was turning left on Stéphane Street.
She suffered an injury to her foot.
Initial investigation indicates the schoolbus driver may have been blinded by sunlight and did not see the girl.
