DND and Canadian Forces personnel in the first wave of staff relocating to the former Nortel complex have received their marching orders on what they can and cannot bring to the new site.

Don’t worry about the furniture, they’ve been told. They are, however, to bring along their computer, office chair, “up to two boxes of files, and personal items per person and a two-drawer filing cabinet.”
They are not to bring telephones as new voice over internet protocol equipment is being provided. Nix all the plants, personal items and artwork that don’t fit in the two boxes.
Don’t worry about the office refrigerator, employees have been informed, as those will be supplied for all kitchenettes at the Carling Campus. But they have been reminded to grab microwaves, kettles and toaster ovens that are in their current offices.
