An intense fire destroyed a home in Chelsea Thursday night.
Cantley firefighters were called to the residence on Du Barrage Street shortly after 6 p.m. and immediately called for assistance.
MRC-des-Collines police said witnesses reported the fire began in the chimney area and spread quickly to the roof.
Fire officials were unable to save the home and concentrated on protecting neighbouring property.
The fire is believed to have been accidental, although there is no official cause as yet, nor is there any official damage estimate.
There were no injuries.
