As voters go to the polls in the most raucous U.S. election in recent history, a group of 19 journalism students from Carleton University are on the ground in New York state.

They’ve booked out an entire hotel in Ogdensburg to serve as their base of operations, and are fanning out to towns in the area to report on election day.
