A 51-year-old Ottawa man is facing charges that he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl in the city’s rural west end last year.
Police got a complaint in October about a man sexually assaulting the girl in April 2015. She also said that the same man had touched her inappropriately on another occasion.
Sexual assault and child abuse unit investigators now say that they are concerned that there could be other victims.
Wayne Scissons is charged with two counts of sexual interference, two counts of sexual assault and one count of invitation to sexual touching.
He’s scheduled to appear in court Saturday.
