Porter Airlines passengers won’t be getting off the ground due to a systems glitch.
The airline tweeted at about 4:20 p.m. Saturday that “all arriving (and) departing flights grounded due to a system outage.”
The airline said it would be sharing updates as they became available.
“Flights are still affected and not operating due to the system outage,” a Porter spokesman said shortly after 5 p.m. “I do not currently have more specific information to provide, nor an estimated time for a solution.
“The flight status feature on the website will not be accurate because it cannot be updated at this time.”
A spokeswoman for the Ottawa airport said that its website was being updated so travellers would be able to check yow.ca for accurate flight information.
Scheduled Porter flights Saturday evening included arrivals to Ottawa from Toronto, Moncton and Halifax and departures for Toronto and Halifax.
The company said it would communicate updates via Twitter.
