Metcalfe Street closure and Slater Street lane reductions begin Friday

Metcalfe Street will be closed from Laurier Avenue to Slater Street beginning Friday, March 10 at 6 p.m., due to construction work. The work also requires lane reductions on Slater Street, between Bank Street and Elgin Street, beginning Friday, March 10 at 7 p.m. These traffic impacts will be in place until Monday, March 13 at 5 a.m.

Signed detours will be in place for motorists and cyclists during the closure. Pedestrian and local traffic access will not be affected by the construction, access to businesses will be maintained, and there will be no changes to OC Transpo routes or stops. On-street parking will be restricted during the construction.
