A 30-year-old Ottawa man has been charged with human trafficking following a police investigation.
Manock Lual, who also goes by the street name “Zulu,” has been charged with a total of 11 offences including: sexual assault, forcible confinement, and advertising sexual services, Ottawa police said in a release Tuesday.
The investigation began after police received a complaint of human trafficking involving a woman in her early 20s.
Believing that there may be other victims, investigators are asking anyone with information to call the human trafficking unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5005.

Lual was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
