The Pretoria Bridge, connecting Queen Elizabeth Driveway and Colonel By Drive, will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic this Sunday, April 30, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., for its regular spring maintenance work.
Both cyclists and pedestrians will be able to use the bridge during the closure, but may experience some delays as work is completed on various sections.
The Pretoria Bridge is a unique historic landmark for the nation’s capital. The City of Ottawa is proud to ensure its long-term sustainability as an operating lift bridge that crosses the Rideau Canal.
