Arcade Fire coming to Ottawa in September

Arcade Fire will blaze a trail to Ottawa in September.

On Thursday, the Quebec band released its title track off of its new album Everything Now on streaming services.

Ottawa’s Canadian Tire Centre will be the band’s third stop out of eight on its Canadian tour.

Everything Now follows Arcade Fire’s highly acclaimed 2013 album Reflektor. Previously, the album was awarded the 2014 Juno award for album of the year and the award for alternative album of the year.

All four of the band’s albums have received Grammy nominations for the category of Best Alternative Music Album. It has also been a shortlist nominee for the Polaris Music Prize three times.

Arcade Fire’s fifth studio album will be available on July 28.

Tickets for the Ottawa show will go on sale June 9 at 10 a.m.
