Ontario Provincial Police have laid charges against two people in Cardinal after a raid on a residence in the town found large quantities of illegal drugs.
Police said the raid occurred at an apartment in the town on Monday around 11:45 a.m. Police found, crack cocaine, cocaine, heroin, crystal methamphetamine and other drugs on the premises.
Charged with multiple counts of trafficking various drugs is Ashley Cleary, 30, and James Ellis, 30, both from Cardinal.
Cleary is to appear in Brockville court on Dec. 8. Ellis has been held until he can appear in bail court.
Police ask anyone with information about the pair or the drugs that were found in the apartment to call 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-(TIPS) 8477.
