A worker suffered a neck injury on Monday after a piece of equipment at a light rail tunnel entry point on Queen Street fell on his head.
Calls came into Ottawa paramedics around 12:20 p.m., reporting that a scissor lift fell onto the worker’s head, injuring his neck.
The 28-year-old man suffered non-life threatening injuries, said paramedics. He was wearing a helmet.
He was taken to hospital in stable condition for further treatment.
