Police have charged an Ottawa man with sexual assault after he allegedly forced himself on a woman in a public area.
According to police, the man met the woman on an online dating website in November and they agreed to meet in a public place.
They walked together to secluded area where the man allegedly sexually assaulted the victim.
The woman reported the incident to police who launched an investigation.
On Friday, police charged Jay Lennox, 37, of Ottawa with sexual assault and forcible confinement. He was to appear in an Ottawa courtroom Friday.
Police are concerned that there may be other victims.
