Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in locating Louisa Neill, 34, who has been missing since Dec. 31.
Neill is new to Ottawa and her family is concerned for her safety.
She was last seen in the Montreal Road area.
She is described as of Inuit descent, five feet three inches (160 cm) tall, weighing 115 pounds (52 kg), with a very thin build. She has a tanned complexion, dark brown shoulder length hair (usually kept in a pony tail), dark brown eyes, yellowing teeth, with a tattoo on her shoulder of a triangle with a bird flying through it, and one on her forearm of Polaris, or the North Star. Both of her ears are pierced.
She was last seen wearing a grey toque, black winter coat, brown UGG boots and carrying black duffel bag and a green camouflage pattern backpack.
Anyone with information is asked to call Ottawa police at 613-236-1222.
