Ontario Provincial Police officers continue to investigate after a a man was killed in a head-on collision near the Township of North Stormont late Tuesday night.
According to police, a passenger vehicle was travelling westbound on County Road 43 shortly after 10 p.m. when for unknown reasons, it veered into the eastbound lanes and struck an oncoming vehicle.
Police said the 69-year-old driver of the westbound vehicle, a Quebec man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the oncoming car, a 34-year-old Cornwall woman, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police have not released the identity of either driver pending notification of next of kin.
