The Gatineau Olympiques have been cleared to return to their home building for a game Friday after the building was closed by an ammonia spill earlier this week.
The spill occurred Tuesday, leading to a postponement of an Olympiques game and several other scheduled activities.
The Olympiques are playing the Drummondville Voltigeurs Friday, and the postponed game against the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada has been rescheduled for March 12.
While the Olympiques return to the building, affectionately known as ‘The Bob’, on Friday, other regularly scheduled activities won’t open until Saturday.
The City of Gatineau says it’s preparing a detailed report of the spill to assess how it happened.
