A woman struck by a car last week in Gatineau died in hospital Wednesday, the city’s first traffic fatality of 2018.
The 59-year-old woman, who died at l’Hôpital de Hull, had suffered head injuries when she was struck at chemin d’Aylmer and chemin Fraser at 4:15 p.m. on Jan. 24, Gatineau police said.
The driver, a 25-year-old Ottawa man, has not been charged, police said, though an investigation continues.
